Q. 2. What we do?
Ans. In India Accor Services provides two products – Ticket Restaurant Meal Vouchers and Ticket Compliments Gift Vouchers – to companies. Employers provide these vouchers to their employees as part of salary. This helps employees to save their income tax.

Q. 3. What are Ticket Restaurant Meal Vouchers and Ticket Compliments Gift Vouchers?
Ans. Ticket Restaurant Meal Vouchers:
These vouchers can be used to purchase food and beverages from the shops in Accor Services Affiliate Network (ASAN).
Ticket Compliments Gift Vouchers:
These vouchers can be used to purchase everything from daily essentials to consumer durables, jewellery, etc., from shops in ASAN.
Both these vouchers are supplied in multiple denominations to give flexibility to users (like cash).
Q. 4. Are Ticket Restaurant & Ticket Compliments vouchers a mode of payment?
Ans. Yes, since a customer pays for the products and services bought from a shop with Ticket Restaurant & Ticket Compliments vouchers, they are a mode of payment.
Q. 5. How are Ticket Restaurant & Ticket Compliments vouchers different form a credit / debit card?
Ans. Ticket Restaurant & Ticket Compliments vouchers are not same as credit cards because:
- Credit / debit cards do not help the employee save income tax.
- Credit / debit cards do not help shops to develop loyalty with their customers. Since Accor Services vouchers are accepted in a limited number of shops (as per user request) they help shops to build long-term relationships with their customers.
- There is no limit on amount that can be spent by a credit / debit card (limited only to credit limit or balance in account respectively). Law, on the other hand, limits amount spent in the form of Accor Services vouchers. (Click here for details)
- In case of credit / debit card the transaction is electronic in nature. Accor Services vouchers on the other hand are used like currency notes (and often in combination with currency).
Q. 6. How does Accor Services voucher system work?
Ans. STEP 1: An employer buys the vouchers from Accor Services.
STEP 2: The employer provides these vouchers as part of salary to its employees.
STEP 3: Employees use these vouchers to purchase goods and services at affiliates (shops) in Accor Services Affiliate Network (ASAN).
STEP 4: ASAN members then get these vouchers reimbursed with Accor Services to receive their payment.

Q. 7. How do I accept Ticket Restaurant & / or Ticket Compliments vouchers against purchase of goods and services?
Ans. There are four simple steps to accept Ticket Restaurant & / or Ticket Compliments vouchers:
- Customers select the products and services he wishes to buy, and asks for the bill.
- He pays for the purchase with Ticket Restaurant or Ticket Compliments vouchers or vouchers in combination with cash.
- You accept the payment and cancel the Ticket Restaurant or Ticket Compliments vouchers so as to render them unusable.
- You send Ticket Restaurant & / or Ticket Compliments vouchers to Accor Services to claim your payment.
Q. 8. When and how do I receive my payment?
Ans. Given below is the detailed reimbursement procedure:
- Collect Ticket Restaurant / Ticket Compliments Vouchers from your customers against the purchase made.
- Stamp vouchers with cancellation stamp provided in the Welcome Pack.
- Please carefully count your Ticket Restaurant and Ticket Compliments Vouchers separately, tie them with rubber band and pack them in the Reimbursement Envelopes supplied to you.
- Please mention the voucher details, like number of vouchers, total face value of each denomination, total number and total value of vouchers, on the reimbursement envelope.
- Deposit your sealed envelope at our nearest collection centre (list provided in Welcome Kit) and collect stamped counterfoil.
- Accor Services arranges for the transportation of vouchers from collection centres to its office.
The table in Question 9 below, shows the reimbursement dates on which you have to deposit your Ticket Restaurant and / or Ticket Compliments vouchers at our nearest collection centre.
The payment is sent by cheque payable at par in your city.
Q. 9. What are reimbursement dates?
Ans. Reimbursement dates are the pre fixed dates in every month on which you send your Accor Services vouchers to claim your payment. These dates are sent to you in the form of a Reimbursement Calendar. Given below is the reimbursement calendar for 2009.

For example, if you deposit your vouchers at collection centre on or before the reimbursement date of January 10, 2009 your payment cheque will reach you on January 29, 2009 which is the next reimbursement date. And the cycle continues like this.
Q. 10. How does the customer know where to spend vouchers?
Ans. Each user of Accor Services vouchers is supplied with an Accor Services Affiliate Directory for that product (Ticket Restaurant or Ticket Compliments. Each member of ASAN is listed in this directory with its name, address, phone numbers and category of goods & services offered). The customers can also log on to Accor Services website (www.accorservices.co.in) for our details on our retail network.
Q. 11. Is there a service charge payable and why?
Ans. Since Accor Services manages and runs the whole system, it levies a service charge on the shops in ASAN. This service charge is a small %age of the value of vouchers used in a transaction. For e.g. the total transaction value is Rs. 3000/- of which Rs. 2000/- is paid by way o
f Accor Services vouchers and rest in form of cash / credit card. In this case Accor Services levies the service charge only on Rs. 2000/- (and not on Rs. 3000/-) as this is the value of vouchers involved in the transaction.
